Zeus, or Bandit as we affectionately call him, was our very first breeding male, though that wasn't the plan when we brought him home. We got Zeus from Snopride Bengals in Oregon simply wanting a pet Bengal. We had no breeding intentions, no big dreams of starting a cattery. We just wanted a companion. But Zeus, from day one, is something special. The more time we spend with him, the more we learn about the Bengal breed, and the more we fall in love with everything they represent. Zeus sparked something in us we didn't even know was there. He changed our entire life path and opened our eyes to the remarkable world of Bengals and the incredible souls within this breed. What started as wanting a pet becomes a passion, a calling, and eventually Divinus Pride Bengals. Zeus sets the bar impossibly high, and honestly, he's the reason any of this exists. We're forever grateful to Snopride and Zeus who have taught  us so much.

People who meet Zeus for the first time are usually a bit intimidated. He is a big boy with this dense, muscular build and real presence about him. You can feel his strength just being near him. His coat has incredible glitter too, and watching him in the sunlight is mesmerizing. He just shimmers with this brilliant glittery glow. But here's the thing about Zeus: beneath all that power is the gentlest, most loving soul you could imagine.

His signature move is these headbutts he gives as a greeting. And I mean, he can literally move you with them because he is so strong. But there is never any aggression, just pure affection. He makes it his mission to ensure everyone in the room gets one of those legendary greetings. It is his way of saying hello, and every single time, it leaves an impression.

Zeus has his wild side too. Watching him go into what we call "Bengal Turbo Mode" is something else. He launches himself up walls, all the way to the ceiling, with his unlimited energy. He loves water play too, which keeps things entertaining - ALWAYS making a mess of the water bowls. We always have thirsty kitties because of Mr. Bandit who has to always have his paws in the water bowls. But what really makes Zeus special is his temperament around the cattery. When we have litters, he brings that loving dad persona you always hope to see. His patience is incredible. Nothing can get under his skin. No matter the situation, he remains calm and resolved. He is the stoic defender of peace and love in our home. Whenever any of the pride gets too rowdy, Zeus is there to keep everyone decent.

We are so blessed, so lucky to share our lives with such a great soul. Zeus isn't just a breeding cat; he is family. He holds an undeniable mark on our life course and sets the standard for what a Divinus Pride Bengal should be: powerful yet gentle, striking yet approachable, wild in appearance yet domestic in devotion. That perfect balance of power and gentleness, patience and playfulness, strength and love. Zeus was more than we could have ever dreamed of. He remains forever in our hearts.
