Astra is, in many ways, the answer to a question we asked ourselves years ago when we first started Divinus Pride Bengals. What happens when you carefully, patiently, and intentionally build a program generation after generation? Astra is what happens.

She is our fourth generation homebred queen, born from a maternal line that began with Nova, our beloved foundation queen, and stretches unbroken through Artemis and Freya before arriving at Astra. Every queen in that line was raised here, chosen here, and refined here. On her sire side, she carries the contributions of three of our most important males: Zeus, our foundation sire, whose calm and affectionate nature has shaped our cattery's temperament from the very beginning; Taj, whose elegance and structure brought beautiful refinement to the next generation; and Avalanche, her own father, who introduced the snow genetics that gave Astra her soft, glowing coat. Three sires, three generations, one extraordinary queen.

But pedigree alone has never been the heart of what we do, and Astra is so much more than her bloodlines. She is, quite simply, one of the most affectionate cats we have ever known. Where many Bengals are independent and selective with their love, Astra gives hers freely. She greets you at the door, follows you from room to room, leans into every hand that reaches for her, and purrs at the smallest kindness. She is the kind of cat who makes you feel chosen. You can see Nova's quiet grace in the way she carries herself, Zeus's social warmth in how she greets every visitor, and a softness all her own in the way she settles against you for no reason other than wanting to be close.

With her kittens, Astra is everything we hoped for and more. She is patient, attentive, and naturally maternal, raising her babies with the same gentle confidence that has been passed down through every queen before her.
